A little history about my job....

I work for a Funiture company on the west cost called Raymour & Flanigan. This company is kind of big and is ever expanding. I work the graveyard shift, thats late at night from 10pm to 6:30am so my day is ending when i sleep in the morning (around 8am) and starting when i wake up (around 3 or 4pm)

I dont work in thew store, instead i work behind the scenes in the warehouse. I'm a Facility Technican. It is my job to unliad the trucks and put the furniture in the line in which its to be delivered. Its a hard job but it pays well, $12/hour. Not bad for me.

I have been working at Raymour & Flanigan since August 2005, but i took a small leave to go to Edinboro University. That was from mid-january to mid-May. I came back to work for a week during my spring break.

I like my job, when I started this job i really didnt think it was for me. Before I came here I was a Teachers Aide. Teching 1st and 2nd graders. Also I work behind a desk as an administrative assistant. And I did various temp jobs as an administrative assistant. I did lots of database entry. I typed ALL DAY. It got boring so I decided to venture into somewthing new, I decided to become a labor worker.

During my first two months I work during first shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm. It was strenuous and hard so i decided to quit, I didnt come back to work for a week. After I realized how much i missed this job i ended up begging to keep my job and my then boss Mike decided to give me a second chance. And I'm glad he did. I absolutly love my job!

I guess this going to be my part one, I typing this at work, I'll finish the rest later at home.

I go back to work next sunday. Today is mothers day and it was...weird.

My mom is afriad that her friends will find out I'm gay. It's annoying.

Macks Flowers

I just thought I'd share another little piece of phoptography. This is Macenzie Shepard. She likes going into other peoples gardens and picking their flowers! Macks 7 now and I have know her since she was born, he family has lived next door to me for about 9 years. Her mother, Patty, is like a second mother to me.

I was home on speing break and she was picking flowers and she wanted me to take her picture. I took a few of them , but I like this one the best. The reast are on deviantart.

The reason why I take pictures of little kids is mostly because none of my friends like getting their pictures taken ^_^ And kids are sometimes easier to photograph. They alwasy want their picture taken and their always eager.

I can honstly say that I do NOT miss those years!

Semesters End...

So tommorrow is my last day in Edinboro at Edinboro University until August. This year at college has definatly been an experience. I've met some interesting people, but then again I've also met lots of people that reminded me why i was so eager to leave highschool.

I'm happy I'm going back home but a little sad at the same time. I like it here for some reason. I think because this school lacks choas and actually gives you some kinda of expectation of the real world.

But reaturning home shouldnt be that difficult. I get to see my bestfriends again, and i get to return to my job. I love my job, it familys like my other family.

Anyway tommorow is the last day. This summer I'm going to work on buying a domain name and some web hosting and getting a website.

I got a raise at work over Spring Break so I'll have some extra money. I guess thats it for now. I'm going to write tommorow.

Postsecret 5/7/2006

Do you ever just go into somewhere like someones house or a store or a really nice restraunt and just want to break it all! Everything is just so perfect, and calm and in order. I think this is because we all are so used to having chaos in our life. When were put into a situation where everything is going right we feel the need to wreck it just to feel comfortable. Its either that or we just really need to wreck the hell out of something.

I'm going to write to post secret. One day. Just for fun.

Spirituality vs Religion

I agree with most of these, however there are some one her that are somewhat extreme tword religion.

SPIRITUALITY SAYS THAT GOD IS WITHIN US AND THAT WE DON'T NEED ANYONE ELSE TO MAKE THAT DIVINE CONNECTION FOR US
RELIGION SAYS THAT WE ARE SEPARATED FROM GOD AND THAT WE NEED "THEM" TO MAKE THAT DIVINE CONNECTION

SPIRITUALITY SAYS THAT WE ARE FREE TO MAKE CHOICES ON OUR OWN AND THAT WE MUST TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR ACTIONS
RELIGION SAYS WE MUST MAKE THEIR CHOICES AND ACT THEIR WAY

THE THEME OF SPIRITUALITY IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
THE THEME OF RELIGION IS FEAR AND GUILT

SPIRITUALITY DOES NOT REQUIRE US TO MAKE DONATIONS
RELIGION HAS BECOME BIG BUSINESS

SPIRITUALITY SAYS THERE IS NO HELL, NO JUDGEMENT, NO ANGRY GOD... THAT WE ARE LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY
RELIGION SAYS THERE IS A HELL, GOD GETS ANGRY AND JUDGES US... THEREFORE, WE ARE NOT LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE ARE FREE TO CHOOSE OUR OWN PATH TO GOD
RELIGION COMMANDS US TO DO IT THEIR WAY

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE GO TO GOD TO LIGHTEN OUR BURDEN
RELIGION HAS TAUGHT US TO FEAR THEIR GOD

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE SHOULD NOT BE ASHAMED OF OUR SEXUALITY... THAT IT SHOULD BE A SACRED CELEBRATION OF LOVE
RELIGION HAS TAUGHT US TO FEEL ASHAMED, GUILTY AND DIRTY ABOUT OUR SEXUALITY

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES US TO HONOR AND RESPECT MOTHER EARTH
RELIGION HAS TOLD US TO "BE THOU FRUITFUL, MULTIPLY AND SUBDUE THE EARTH" I REPEAT... "SUBDUE THE EARTH"

SPIRITUALITY REMINDS US THAT WE ARE ONE WITH GOD AND ONE WITH EACH OTHER
RELIGION TEACHES DISUNITY AND SEPARATION WHICH IS THE OPPOSITE OF GOD

SPIRITUALITY SAYS GOD IS WITHIN
RELIGION SAYS HE IS IN HEAVEN AND THAT "THEY" ARE THE ONLY INTERMEDIARIES FOR US

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE ARE BORN IN INNOCENCE AND PURITY
RELIGION SAYS WE ARE BORN WITH SIN

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES THAT WE ARE ON A LONG SPIRITUAL ADVENTURE AND JOURNEY WHICH WILL ULTIMATELY END BY REUNITING WITH OUR SOURCE
RELIGION SAYS WE'VE GOT ONE LIFE TO GET IT ALL RIGHT AND THERE IS NOTHING BUT HEAVEN OR HELL AFTER THAT

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE ARE FREE TO EXPRESS
RELIGION GAVE US THE DREADED INQUISITION

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOR ALL
RELIGION GAVE US THE CRUSADES IN WHICH MANY WERE KILLED AND SLAUGHTERED IN THE NAME OF GOD

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES THAT WE SHOULD LOVE ONE ANOTHER UNCONDITIONALLY AND ALWAYS HONOR THE RIGHTS AND CHOICES OF OTHERS
RELIGION TREATED NATIVE AMERICANS, THE MAYANS AND OTHER INDIGENOUS CULTURES AS SAVAGE PRIMITIVES WHO "MUST BE SAVED"

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES PEACE AND HARMONY
RELIGION HAS CAUSED MORE WARS AND MORE KILLING THAN ANY OTHER REASON

SPIRITUALITY SAYS RESPECT ALL LIVING THINGS
I NEVER ONCE HEARD ANY RELIGION SAY STOP SLAUGHTERING MILLIONS OF TREES EVERY YEAR FOR CHRIST'S BIRTHDAY

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES US TO HAVE FAITH IN OURSELVES
RELIGION TEACHES US TO HAVE FAITH IN THEM

SPIRITUALITY SAYS WE HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS... THAT WE CAN FIND THEM BY "GOING WITHIN"
RELIGION TEACHES US THAT IT HAS ALL THE ANSWERS AND ONLY ITS ANSWERS ARE THE RIGHT ONES

SPIRITUALITY TEACHES US TO SEARCH FOR THE UNIVERSAL TRUTHS AND OUR HEARTS WILL TELL US WHEN WE HAVE FOUND THEM
RELIGION TEACHES WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO ACCEPT THEIR VERSION OF THE TRUTH

Summer

Ok I've decided that I'm going to leave my blog layout the way it is. I'm gettign tired of changing it.

Ok so my goals for this blog are to update at least every other day. During the summer I plan on registering my own domain name. Maybe that will give me a little more motivation to update more.

So since I'm am offically done with classes, I have a little more time to work with this blog. I've decided to to make a short list of summer goals

    1. Get another job
    2. Buy a car
    3. Go to Six Flags -or- Kings Dominon Which ever Comes first.
    4. Apply to more colleges (I love Edinboro University but its too far)
    5. Go to more movies (this was me and Courtneys goal last year but it failed.)
    6. Pay off my computer (Dell finacial shit sucks so I just want to get it over with)
    7. Buy an Ipod Video (I really need a new Ipod I'm tired of my MP3 player)
    8. Buy more DVDs
    9. Buy a new digital camara ( already have one picked out i just need the money)

I think thats it for now. I'm hoping this summer is just little more exciting then last years was.

Every so often There comes a TV show that pushes peoples buttons but makes a point. A few (animated) series that come to mind are South Park and Family. Last year, the famous, Boondocks comics where made into a TV show. People didnt really catch on from the begining but now people black and white are all over this shit. And why shouldnt they you have and 8 year old that talks about what makes a girl a ho! Now that's must see TV!

Pink - Dear Mr President

First things first. I heard this song some time ago when Pink's album was released and it instantly became one of my absolute favorite tracks. After seeing her sing it live on YouTube I was completely floored. The emotion and the tone and the energy she puts into this song is incredible. She truly sings this song from the heart. I believe that this song is one the will go down in the musical history books.

While listening to the song, I was wondering how Bush would answer these questions based on what he has said in the past. I cant help but think that if Pink were to sit down with him and answer these questions that he would manage to rationalize his entire existence. I can just picture him making excuse after petty excuse for the wrong he's done. When asking how does he sleep at night, I cant help but picturing him making a stupid joke like "very comfortably" or "on my side" and then doing that little southern cackle he does.

I feel like when asked what do you feel when you look in the mirror he may say "I feel like a man. And man whose job it is to lead this country." I don't know I feel like he would give the stock presidential answer instead of what is actually going on in his head. What happens when we ask him to put himself in their shoes? I the shoes of a minimum wage parent, a gay teenager, a soldier in Iraq, a single mom who cant get benefits, a high school graduate who can't get into college due to income, a family put out into the streets, a parent of a mentally ill child, the list could go on and on. What happens when we put ourselves in other people positions. Then we begin to look at ourselves differently. I believe he is either afraid to do that, or just refuses to because he honestly thinks he's too good for it.

I feel like if he wasn't president now, in 2006, he would probably be bestfriends with someone like Rush Limbaugh. But hey, who's to say that they aren't friends now? I feel like maybe that on the inside, he is Rush Limbaugh, and if it weren't for his presidential status, he would be spouting racial, and ignorant hate like Limbaugh so often does. Isn't that what he's doing now, but in a more discreet way? By not allowing gay people to get married? By ignoring those in Katrina? By keeping out troops in Iraq?
Maybe that's not it, maybe somewhere in his brain he's thinking "Hey America my dicks bigger than yours!" Because that seems to be the case with this war. My dicks bigger than yours Iraq. And poor Iraq just came out the pool. So what can it do. Sure there are the few that opened their eyes and say "Hey! Its not THAT big!" But then Bush takes a few of those growth pills and boom! Another civilian dies. It might seem like a weird way to put it all but it's the truth.

Dear Mr. President. I challenge you to come to Pennsylvania and experience a day with me. Lets take a walk around Philadelphia and see how everyone feels. Lets take a look into the house of a single mother who has 3 children and gets minimum wage. Lets go around town and look at all the small shrines people have made for those who have died fighting "the war on terrorism." Lets talk to someone who just came back from Iraq, lets see what they have to say. Lets see how all the right winged private schools are brainwashing our upper class students into believing that we are actually fighting for something. Lets look at the schools participating in "no child left behind." Lets volunteer at a homeless shelter for a day. Lets work the register at McDonald's for a day. Lets just walk the streets and observe the world around us. Lets go to the public schools and see how old their text books are. Lets pretend for a second that do not come from "royalty" and lets pretend that your just a regular person. Because in reality you are just another person. Your just like the rest of us. There are things that scare you, annoy you, confuse you, and make you happy. You have insecurities, and flaws. You are not perfect. No. No one is perfect. You are a number, just like the rest of us. You are tagged with a "social security number" just like the rest of us Americans. WHAT ARE YOU SO AFRAID OF? Terrorism? Guess what the terror is not in Iraq it is in Washington D.C. It's closer than you think. Let me give you a hint. Look in a mirror. What do you see? Who do you see. In 50 words or less.

Dear Mr. President how do you walk with your head held high? Can you even look me in the eye and tell me why?

Some people just should not have kids. And if you do decide to have a kid, tech your kid some respect. Talking softly and video tapping then having brat attacks will not get their bad asses to eat their food.

My Layout

edit: I ended making my own layout for blogger. Not much but s'okay for my first time. I also updated my Myspace again. I've update it every 2 weeks for the past 2 months. I really seriously have too much time on my hands on the weekend. I'm stuck in my room with no TV. Just me and computer. So to pass the time I play with my HTML code. It's fun.....I guess.
